Oven care
How often should you clean your oven?
A simple guide to keeping grease and baked-on food from building up.
A good starting point
For most homes, a deep oven clean every three to six months is a sensible starting point. If you cook every day, roast often or notice smoke and smells, you may need one sooner.
Clean little and often
Wipe spills once the oven is cool, use a tray for bubbling dishes and clean the door glass when it starts to cloud. These small jobs make a professional clean quicker and help your oven stay fresh.
Look out for the signs
Smoke, stubborn grease, uneven cooking smells or a door that no longer looks clear are all good reasons to book a clean. VRW can advise on the right service for your oven.
